What order do accounts print on Financial Statements?
Accounts print in General Ledger account code order within each Financial Statement section. If you prefer a different order, you can assign (Reports>Assign Report Groups) each account to its own report group and number the group codes in the order you want them to appear. Then, when you set up the financial statement, make sure the report group is selected on the Groups tab.
Can I print financial statements using only a certain level of format information, such as first level sections only?
Yes. At print time, use the Options tab to specify the statement level.
How can I show one total for all cash accounts, for example, but show detail for each Accounts Receivable account?
When formatting financial statements, use the Assign Accounts tab to specify whether or not to include detail for each account assigned to a section.
