How can I print the detail for a range of accounts for a specified time period?

Print a report using Reports>General Ledger Analysis>Expanded General Ledger. Use the tabs on the Report Setup form to specify column headings (Content tab), dates (Setup tab), and other report criteria. (The transaction Effective Date entered on the transaction entry form is the date to which all report date ranges refer.)

How can I print journals and ledgers by fund or by a range of funds?

Print journals using Reports>Journals>Cash Journal, Revenue Journal, or Expenditure Journal. To print ledgers, use the Reports>General Ledger Analysis>Standard General Ledger or Expanded General Ledger forms. Select Fund as a column on the Content tab, and then use the Filter tab to specify which funds to include in the report.

How can I specify a page break in a report?

Select "Page Break" as the type, in the Items by Page group box, on the Content tab.

How are negative amounts shown on reports?

They are shown in parenthesis ( ).

Can unposted transactions be included on a Trial Balance?

No. All transactions must be posted in order to be included on any report, except for the Transaction Reports>Unposted General Ledger Transactions, Unposted Budget Transactions, and Unposted Encumbrance Transactions.

How can I define subtotals on my reports and financial statements?

To display a total for a particular column, click the Show Total check box on the Content tab. (It must be a numeric column such as Debit, Credit, Variance, or Percentage. You cannot Show Totals for a document number column such as Document Amount or Invoice Amount.)
