Configuring Custom Links

The MIP One Click Navigator allows you to place custom links to frequently accessed applications and documents on the Process Manager window>Favorites tab.

Right-click on the Favorites tab, to create a custom link. Once a link is added, opening a document or application from the Process Manager window is as simple as double-clicking the link. The system displays the program icon associated with the link. You can drag and drop these links into folders to include them in your processes.

To create a link to a website, you must have already created a shortcut using the following instructions.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Open the website.
  3. Click File>Save As and create a link.
  4. From the Favorites tab, you can create a link to this website link.

Note: When you create a link using Internet Explorer, it creates a folder with all files needed, such as graphics and style sheets; and lists the shortcut beneath the folder.
