Reconfigure MIP Fund Accounting Internal Driver to Use a Local Port

Printing to PDF has been know to cause program to crash when using the following Operating System: Windows 7, SP 1 with Office 2010. Follow steps below to reconfigure MIP Fund Accounting Internal Driver to use a Local Port (any name):

  1. Start > Devices and Printers
  2. Right-click MIP Fund Accounting Internal Driver, choose Printer Properties
  3. Click the Ports tab
  4. Note that the printer is currently on LPT1
  5. Click Add Port button
  6. Select Local Port, click New Port button
  7. Type Amyuni in the text field, OK
  8. Verify the MIP Fund Accounting Internal Driver has a checkmark by Amyuni
  9. Print to PDF will now function properly
  10. After applying solution, exit and re-open MIP Fund Accounting workstation for changes to take effect
