What's New and Resolved Issues

The following items are included in Millennium 2017.1. Some items are enhancements to the software, some are changes, and some are corrections.

What's New in Millennium 2017.1

Profiles	Update/Archive linked phone numbers.	The Update/Archive function was added to linked Address records (Profiles>Biographical>Address).
Profiles	Update/Archive linked internet addresses.	The Update/Archive function was added to linked Phone records (Profiles>Biographical>Address).
Profiles	Unlink Attributes one at a time.	This feature allows you to unlink a single attribute from a profile.
Profiles>Advanced Search	Revise advanced search to remove Java from the interface.	The Advanced Search feature replaces the Java applet with an updated method for specifying search criteria.
Search Results Setup	Revise search results setup to remove Java from the interface.	The Search Results Setup feature replaces the Java applet with an updated method for specifying search criteria.
Tools>System Upkeep>System Options	Specify whether a date-time stamp is added to reports.	A system option has been added to specify whether a date-time stamp will be added to the name of scheduled reports. If the option is set to Yes, the system saves each run of a scheduled report with a unique file name. If the option is set to No, the system overwrites scheduled reports each time they are run.
Reporting	Send multiple copies of a report to the printer.	If you select Printer as the Destination for a report, a new Copies option allows you to print multiple copies of the report in a single run.

Constituents	Display comments on Planned Giving and Proposal	Planned Gifts and Proposals on the Constituents>Proposals page show any text entered into the Comments field when the records are added or edited.
Constituents	Turn off unused Touch Point buttons	If an organization has turned off a table in Millennium, the corresponding button will not appear in the buttons at the top of the Touch Points page (Actions, Attributes, Correspondence, Events, Gifts, and Tasks).
Constituents	View attachments	If an attachment is added in Millennium to a planned gift or proposal, and you have permission to view attachments in Millennium, a link to the attachment appears in the entry for the gift or proposal in the Constituents>Proposals page in Millennium Drive. You can click the link to download a copy of the attachment to your workstation.
Constituents and Administration	Insert Proposals - Configurable	The Constituent>Proposals page allows users to add proposals directly from Millennium Drive. This new feature also allows you to configure the Insert Proposal form to suit your organization's needs.
Constituents and Administration	Insert Planned Giving - Configurable	The Constituent>Proposals page allows users to add planned gifts directly from Millennium Drive. This new feature also allows you to configure the Insert Planned Gift form to suit your organization's needs.
Constituents>Summary	Hyperlink capabilities in e-mail and web addresses	Email addresses, web site URLs, and phone numbers can be clicked to send an email, go to the web site, or call the phone number.
Constituents>Touchpoints	Toggle the display of the chart.	Use the show/hide icons (/) to hide or display the chart at the top of the Touchpoints page.
Dashboard	Summary of overdue tasks for user	The Tasks section contains a summary of overdue tasks for the user. Each Constituent Summary also lists overdue tasks associated with the constituent. The Edit link next to each overdue task allows the user to edit the task, adding information to it and updating its status.
Dashboard	View task comments on the dashboard	If there is text in the Comment field for a task, show/hide icons (/) allow you to view or hide the comment.
Dashboard	Choose Attributes for Display on Summary	Use the show/hide icons (/) to hide or display the attributes in the Attributes section of the Dashboard.
Dashboard	Delete Tasks	From the Dashboard, select the Edit button to open the Edit Task form. If you have permission to delete a task in Millennium, the form includes a Delete button. If you click Delete, the system prompts you to confirm the decision.
Dashboard	Search for constituent on Action insert	When you add a task from the Tasks section of the dashboard, you can search for the constituent associated with the task in the Action For field. Wildcard characters, such as the % sign, are supported for this search, or type a few characters of the constituent's name and click the Search icon () to view and select from a list of matching names.
Dashboard and Administration	Configure Add Action form	When adding or editing a task, you can create a new action for the task by clicking Add Action. This new feature allows you to add a new Action to the task and to configure the Add Action form to suit your organization's needs.
Dashboard>Add Task and Edit Task	When editing an action, display the name of the associated constituent	The Action For field has been added to the Insert Task and Edit Task forms. When you choose an constituent in the Action For field to associate the assigned actions with the constituent. On the Edit Task form, this field is for display only and cannot be edited.
