Add Customers
Create a new customer record to store addresses, contact details, billing terms, and preferences for receiving invoices and statements.

Customer Details
Name: Enter the full name of the customer.
Customer ID: Enter a unique ID for the customer.
Resale Tax ID: Enter the unique tax ID.
Website: Enter the customer's website URL.
Status: Enter the current status of the customer:

Active (A): Set to active when it's used for normal entry.

Inactive (I): Set to inactive when it's no longer used for normal transactions, but may be needed in the future. If you try to use inactive customers, the system will display a warning message (but they can still be used). Inactive customers will still appear on reports.

Discontinued (D): Set to discontinued when it's no longer in use. The system will prevent transaction entry for discontinued customers, but they will still appear on reports.
Type: Optionally, select or enter a type. The meaning and usage of the Type field is determined by your organization.
Class: Optionally, select or enter a class. The meaning and usage of the Class field is determined by your organization.
Billing Address & Contact
Address: Enter the street address portion of the customer address
City: Enter the city of the customer address
State/Province: Enter the state or province of the customer address
Postal Code: Enter the zip or postal code of the customer address
Country: Enter the country of the customer address
Phone: Enter the phone number of the customer address
Fax: Enter the fax number of the customer address
Title: Select the title of the contact person associated with the customer address
First Name: Enter the first name of the contact person associated with the customer address
Middle Initial: Enter the middle name of the contact person associated with the customer address
Last Name: Enter the last name of the contact person associated with the customer address
Position: Enter the position of the contact person associated with the customer address
Email Address: Enter the email address of the contact person associated with the customer address
Once you're finished with your edits, Save your changes.
