• Crystal Reports 2019 SP31 runtime components will be installed if they are not already on the Web Server (IIS) computer. These components are needed to view On Demand reports. Users can also create their custom reports using the Crystal Reports app (SAP Crystal Reports 2016, version 14.2.x.x).

• A security certificate (SSL) must be implemented.

  Important! To access Millennium Drive, SSL must be implemented. You must use a valid SSL certificate. We strongly recommend not using a self-signed certificate.

• Intel 2 GHz Pentium-or better.

   Larger networks and database will require faster processors.

• 4 GB minimum. More memory may be required for larger databases.

Crystal 8.5, 9, 10, XI Professional Edition, or Crystal 2008. Crystal 2011 can be used by report writers but some of its new features, notably the RPTR report format and export to docx and xlsx, will not function. Refer to KB article 30216 at https://kb.communitybrands.com for specific version compatibility information.

If data is replicated from your production database for this reporting server, you need one of the supported database engines for the replicated database:

• SQL Server 2022 installed in Mixed Mode

• SQL Server 2019 installed in Mixed Mode

• SQL Server 2016 installed in Mixed Mode

• The collation on the milldata and millreports database must match, and we recommend using Latin 1_ General_BIN. However, if the master and tempdb databases have a collation other than Latin 1_ General_BIN, you may need to select a different collation. To eliminate collation issues when joining on character columns between databases, the milldata, millreports, master, and tempdb databases should have the same collation. Regardless of character set, use a BIN (binary) sort.

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.0 is required for Millennium Version 2025.1. Earlier versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer will not work with the Millennium Reporter. In addition, Compatibility View must be turned off. See Remove Compatibility View for more information. • Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016 or 2019 are required if you will be integrating Millennium Tasks with Microsoft Outlook, and/or uploading Millennium contact information into Outlook contacts. The Outlook client must be installed on each workstation.

Disable the pop-up blocker feature on your browsers. Blocking pop-ups interferes with some functionality, including Help and Linking.

• Set up a tenant in Azure and register the Millennium web app

To enable Outlook integration (Events, Tasks, Contacts), admins must set up a tenant in the organization's Azure portal, then register the Millennium web app.

If your organization does not currently have an Azure subscription, please see this Microsoft help article to learn how to log into the Azure portal and create a tenant. Further instructions can be found in the Millennium Installation guide. There is no charge to set up an Azure subscription.
