View Published Reports
Millennium provides you with the means of creating a set of criteria, running it, and then publishing the results as either an online document in HTML or in PDF format. This form of distribution can be very efficient for both the reporting operator and the fund-raiser. If the report was published to HTML, the browser's print command can generate a printed copy of the report results. If the report was published to PDF, then the PDF viewer's print button can be used to generate a printed copy of the report results.
Published reports are accessed through the Reporting World in one of two ways. Use the Search Reports page to quickly locate one or more reports by entering a report name, or partial name, and optionally, the report category (library) and group in which the report was saved. Or, you can use the Millennium Explorer View Report item to drill down to the desired report through report category (library) and report group, and then display run statistics about the published report, view it again, or delete it.
Note: A published report is one that has been formatted and sent to either the HTML or PDF destination for later viewing through Millennium.
A user will only be able to view the reports that have been saved into report groups that his or her user name has the security rights to access. Security rights to access report groups is determined by what Database Group the user name belongs to. Review the Organize Reports into Groups and the About User Security topics for more information about reports and user security.
