Defining Filters in the Online Directory

In addition to the institution's and the constituent's publishing permissions that are activated for the data tables used by the Online Constituent Directory, the Setup Filters item in the Online Directory Setup display area allows you to define a filter for each Address, Attribute, Education, Employment, Gift, Name, Relation, Phone, Internet Address and Custom Bio table. By constructing any number of selection criteria statements based on the table to be filtered, you can control which data rows will be included in the Online Constituent Directory display, in the same way that filters are applied to an individual user's display in the Profiles World. The institution may define a single filter definition for each table used by the Online Constituent Directory, it is owned by the User ID ecommerce, and applied to everyone's view of the directory.
