Diagnostic Tools
The Millennium system administrator on a system that uses Microsoft SQL Server as its data source. The diagnostic tools can help pinpoint problems with Millennium system configuration or database tables. These tools should be used at the direction of or by Community Brands Customer Support.
menu is available to a user who is logged in as theThe following diagnostic reports can be used to help troubleshoot display and database issues:
- Validate fieldlst table—This test reviews the fieldlst table to verify that the Display Designer sees the correct Column IDs. Mismatched Columns IDs can cause unexpected results in affected screens. The resulting report will display any mismatches between Column IDs and values.
- Validate Customizer access to fieldlist table—This test verifies that the Customizer is retrieving data from the fieldlst table correctly by using the GetColumns resource.
- Check the structure of all Millennium Database Views—This test checks every database view in Millennium to determine whether the views have the same structure as their target tables. This test can help diagnose missing fields, column order issues, or fields that are included in a view that are not represented in the target table.
Tips:
- These tools are only available for Millennium installations that use Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- You must be a Millennium system administrator to access this feature.
- If you have access to the Diagnostics page, but cannot see links to the diagnostic reports, make sure that the IIS server is able to download JSON files.
