Prospect Management Introduction

Millennium includes the means for your institution to manage a comprehensive donor cultivation program, focused on the top prospects within the database. Generally speaking, the information that you would maintain in the Prospect Management tables goes beyond that in the Biographical tables in scope. This information is largely the result of research that has been performed either by your own institution's donor research staff or by third party research companies, or opinions rendered by volunteers. In addition, these tables can be used to track the courses of action taken by the institution to cultivate the donation of major gifts.

The Primary Prospect Management tables are Actions, Demographics, Financial, Media, Planned Gift, Proposals, Screening, Tasks, Tracking and Custom Prospect.

Ratings and Research Sources are secondary data tables and display with the Tracking table. Planned Gift Rating is a secondary data table as well, and displays with Planned Gift, if the rating is linked to a Planned Gift row, or Proposals, if the rating is linked to a Proposal row.
