Prospect Tree

Prospect Trees use the fund raising relationships - prospect and prospect manager - to construct an outline-style relationship tree. The tree is available for any constituent who may own one or more of these relationship types.

In addition to viewing this network of relationships for informational purposes, the tree can be used to navigate from constituent to constituent, because all constituent names are shown as hyperlink text. When the hyperlink is executed, you will be given the comparable tree, using the hyperlink name as the primary constituent. You may also navigate to the standard Millennium data table display for any constituent whose name is shown in the display.

Any constituent, regardless of Constituent Type, may have a Prospect Tracking Tree, showing the network of Relationships that are often established as part of an institution's Prospect Management system. The tree will be constructed using the constituent's prospect manager (if the data is present) as the "Level 1" of the tree. The primary constituent and any other prospects of that prospect manager are shown as "Level 2". If any of the constituents from Level 2 are themselves the prospect manager for other constituents, their prospect will be shown below that constituent and designated as"Level 3".

The name of the constituent whose Prospect Tree is being displayed is shown in red text. All non-constituent relationship names are shown in plain (black) text. All constituent names appear as hyperlink text, in either the hyperlink or the "followed" hyperlink color. If the hyperlink jump is executed, the display will switch to the Prospect Tree for that constituent. From that display, you may continue to jump to other Prospect Tree displays by following hyperlinks or you may view the data profile for the current constituent (the one whose Prospect Tree is being displayed) by clicking any of the Profiles display items in the Millennium Explorer.

A Relationship will not display in the Prospect Tree if that Relationship has a Stop Date on or before the date that you are displaying the Prospect Tree.

Note: An Administrator can remove the Prospect Tree from the Millennium Explorer if not used. See Table Options for more information.

The Prospect Tree recognizes the following Relationship Types (only):
