Set Maintenance Mode
Use this form to manually place the organization database and/or system database into Maintenance Mode when exclusive access is required, such as for maintenance or data integrity checks. When enabled, users and connected applications cannot access the selected database.
Note: Starting with MIP Accounting 2026.3 in multi-tenant environments, MIP automatically enables and disables Maintenance Mode when updating User Defined Fields (UDFs) or closing the fiscal year. You do not need to manually enable Maintenance Mode for these tasks.
Fields
Set Organization Database Offline: Select this option to temporarily prevent access to the organization database. When complete, clear this option to restore access.
Set System Database Offline: Select this option to temporarily prevent access to the system database. When complete, clear this option to restore access.
Viewing connected users
Before setting Maintenance Mode manually, you may need to check whether users are currently signed in.
To see who is currently signed in to MIP, go to Administration > System Activity > Manage Concurrent Users.
To sign out a user, select the user and click Delete.
Note: The Concurrent Users window only displays users signed in to MIP Classic or MIP Modern. It does not show connections from other applications, such as HR, EWS, Microix, or DrillPoint.
