Printing Concerns

How can I see what the form will look like without printing?

While in the Forms Designer window, click Print Preview and you will be able to view how the form will print.

I created a custom APS form that includes the MICR coding. How do I print the MICR encoding with magnetic ink and the remaining form with regular ink?

In order to print a form with two different inks you will need to run the form through the printer twice. First print the checks and select the format that includes just the MICR encoding and simply answer "No" to the question "Did all the checks print correctly?" and select all the checks as unprinted. Then run the checks through the printer again but select the format that includes the check information to complete check.

How does the system know to use my custom form when printing?

When you are on a Print (Load) form, you will need to change the Format selection to your custom form.
