Giving - The Giving and Dues Tables

The Giving tables in Millennium allow you to track and view all of the information concerning the donations and payments that a constituent has made or promised to make to the institution. There are two parallel sets of tables to accomplish this in the way that is appropriate for your institution, the Giving tables and the Dues tables. Both sets have identical functionality. Some institutions employ a sophisticated system of Membership Dues and want to keep that information segregated from their more general Gift information. Yet another view of the constituent's giving patterns or history is available in the Summaries table. Each row in this table shows a cumulative total or another statistic based on the constituent's Gift or Dues Transaction tables, as defined by your institution. The labels for the information are also defined by the institution so that very specific information can be defined and shown. For example, your institution may have giving clubs named for the VIPs in the history of the institution. Those clubs may be used as the labels or the data for individual rows. The data for the Summary rows is not entered using the traditional data maintenance techniques, but is generated using an Millennium utility and the Millennium Reporter.

Millennium also provides a graphical view of the constituent's giving information by using:
