WealthEngine
If your institution has a WealthEngine license and a Millennium system administrator or database administrator has configured Millennium for WealthEngine, you can obtain WealthEngine data for prospects. Millennium integrates with the wealth research component of WealthEngine (FindWealth), and allows you to view and import detailed WealthEngine data for prospects in just a few clicks.
WealthEngine Requirements
Your institution must have a WealthEngine license. An Millennium system administrator or the database administrator also must configure WealthEngine before Millennium users can view WealthEngine data and import WealthEngine data into constituent records. Viewing WealthEngine Data for a Constituent
You can view WealthEngine data for a constituent
by clicking the WealthEngine button displayed next to the name of a constituent
in a constituent record. If your institution accesses WealthEngine by using named accounts (in contrast to proxy server account access to WealthEngine), make sure that you have recorded your WealthEngine password in Millennium. If you have not, then you will have to first log on to WealthEngine (on the WealthEngine log on page that Millennium will automatically access for you) before the constituent's WealthEngine data can be viewed.
To view WealthEngine data for a constituent
- Locate the desired constituent by using a Standard or Advanced Search.
- Click the WealthEngine button
next to the name of the constituent. Millennium opens a new browser window that displays WealthEngine data for the constituent.
Importing WealthEngine Data
When you import WealthEngine data, new rows are created in the Demographic table and Financial table for a constituent based on the settings configured by a Millennium system administrator or database administrator. For more information, see Configuring WealthEngine Import Settings.
When a user performs a search or imports WealthEngine data, Millennium sends the following information to WealthEngine for each constituent.
- First*, Middle, Last* name of the preferred name (nametype='a')
- Address Line 1*, 2, City*, State*, ZIP Code* of the good, home address record (addrtype='a' and addrlocatr='g')
- Phone Number of the home phone ( phntype='a')
- Spouse First, Middle, Last name of the preferred name (nametype = 'a')
- Birth date, month and year
- Degree Date (schldegyr)
- Company Name from the primary, active job (jobsconame where jobsstatus = 'a'. If no job is flagged as primary, then Millennium sends the active job with the latest start date)
- Largest Gift Amount and date
- Last Gift Amount and date
- Total Number of Years of Giving
In order to import data from Wealth Engine, the selected constituent(s) must have the following information (marked with an asterisk above): first name, last name, and home address, including Address Line 1, the City, State, and postal/ZIP code.
Note: If you have run the import one time, and you run the import again on the same date, then the rows that were created during the first import on that date will be updated instead.
You can import WealthEngine data using one of the following methods:
- Import WealthEngine data for a selected constituent. For more information, see Importing WealthEngine Data for a Selected Constituent.
- Import WealthEngine data for prospects in the My Prospects list. For more information, see Importing WealthEngine Data for My Prospects.
- Import WealthEngine data for all prospects. For more information, see Importing WealthEngine Data for All Prospects.
- Import WealthEngine data using a worktable. For more information, see Importing WealthEngine Data Using a Worktable.
Importing WealthEngine Data for a Selected Constituent
If your institution is licensed for WealthEngine and Millennium has been configured for WealthEngine, you can import WealthEngine data for a selected constituent into the constituent record. If your institution accesses WealthEngine by using named accounts (in contrast to proxy server account access to WealthEngine), make sure that you have recorded your WealthEngine password in Millennium. If you have not, then you will have to first log on to WealthEngine (on the WealthEngine log on page that Millennium will automatically access for you) before the WealthEngine data can be imported for the constituent.
To import WealthEngine data for a selected constituent
- Click the name or ID of a constituent for whom you want to import WealthEngine data. For more information about finding a constituent, see Using the Default Search Form.
- Click the ProspectLink
button
next to the name of the constituent. Millennium imports the WealthEngine data into the constituent record based on the WealthEngine import settings and options specified. For more information about WealthEngine import settings, see Configuring WealthEngine Import Settings.
Note: If you use on either the Demographic or Financial display page to import WealthEngine data, you must refresh the page after the import before you can see the newly imported data.
Importing WealthEngine Data for My Prospects
If your institution is licensed for WealthEngine and Millennium has been configured for WealthEngine, you can import WealthEngine data for all prospects listed in My Prospects Favorites view. For more information about the My Prospects Favorites view, see My Prospects Favorites. If your institution accesses WealthEngine by using named accounts (in contrast to proxy server account access to WealthEngine), make sure that you have recorded your WealthEngine password in Millennium. If you have not, then you will have to first log on to WealthEngine (on the WealthEngine log on page that Millennium will automatically access for you) before the WealthEngine data can be imported for the constituent.
To import WealthEngine data for prospects listed in your My Prospects Favorites view
- Access the WealthEngine Import form by using Millennium Explorer > Tools > WealthEngine > Import.
- Click the Select My Prospects option.
- Click Import.
Importing WealthEngine Data for All Prospects
If your institution is licensed for WealthEngine and Millennium has been configured for WealthEngine, you can import WealthEngine data for all prospects. If your institution accesses WealthEngine by using named accounts (in contrast to proxy server account access to WealthEngine), make sure that you have recorded your WealthEngine password in Millennium. If you have not, then you will have to first log on to WealthEngine (on the WealthEngine log on page that Millennium will automatically access for you) before the WealthEngine data can be imported for the constituent.
To import WealthEngine data for all prospects
- Access the WealthEngine Import form by using Millennium Explorer > Tools > WealthEngine > Import.
- Click the Select all prospects option.
- Click Import.
Importing WealthEngine Data Using a Worktable

Worktables that a User owns are created when
- a user runs report criteria and saves the worktable.
- report criteria is run for a user by another user (for example, a system administrator might run a report for a Prospect Manager, using the Prospect Manager's user ID instead of 'sa') and the worktable is saved.
- a user conducts a Profiles Search on the database and saves the results of the search.
To import WealthEngine data for constituents using a worktable
- Access the WealthEngine Import form by using Millennium Explorer > Tools > WealthEngine > Import.
- Click the Select a worktable link. The Load Table form displays. The worktables listed are worktables previously created and saved by, or on behalf of, the user currently logged into Millennium.
- Select the worktable you want to use for the WealthEngine import.

Click Accept.
- Click Import.
Generating WealthEngine Reports
A WealthEngine Profiles report can be generated for each constituent.
Note: Before you can generate a WealthEngine report for a constituent, you must first import WealthEngine data into the constituent record. For more information about importing WealthEngine data into a constituent record, see Importing WealthEngine Data.
To generate a WealthEngine report for a constituent
- Select the constituent you want to generate a WealthEngine report for.
- Point to the Report button on the constituent record, and then click WealthEngine.
Millennium generates a WealthEngine report for the constituent and then displays the report in a new browser window. You can save the generated WealthEngine report as a .pdf file on your local computer or on a network share.
Configuring WealthEngine
Millennium system administrators or the database administrator must complete the following steps to configure WealthEngine:
- Specify WealthEngine log on information, specify the Millennium users who can access WealthEngine (if your institution accesses WealthEngine by using a proxy server account), assign Millennium users to named accounts (if your institution accesses WealthEngine by using named accounts) and grant WealthEngine search/view and import privileges to those Millennium users on the System Options page. - Configure WealthEngine import settings. For more information, see Configuring WealthEngine Import Settings.
For institutions that use named accounts to access WealthEngine (in contrast to proxy service account access to WealthEngine) Millennium users will have to associate their WealthEngine password with the WealthEngine account name to which they are assigned. Configuring WealthEngine Import Settings
Millennium system administrators or the database administrator must configure WealthEngine import settings. WealthEngine import settings specify the entries Millennium will create in the Demographic tables and in the Financial table when Millennium users import WealthEngine data into a constituent profile.
To configure WealthEngine import settings
- Access the WealthEngine Import Setup form by using .
- Select each data element you want to allow users to import into the Demographic and Financial data tables in the Import column.
- Click OK.
WealthEngine Import Setup Form
This section provides column and button descriptions for the WealthEngine Import Setup form.

Select All Button | Selects all the WealthEngine data elements on the form. Click this button when you want to import WealthEngine data for all data elements listed on the form. |

OK Button | Confirms the specified WealthEngine setup settings. |
Cancel Button | Cancels any changes made to WealthEngine setup settings. |
Millennium saves the import settings you specify in the we_import_opts field in the sysinfo system table.
WealthEngine Import Form
This section provides field and button descriptions for the WealthEngine Import form.
