System Upkeep Introduction
The System Upkeep functions of the Tools World are only available to a user who is logged in as the system administrator. Changes, settings, and customizations that are made by using these functions will apply all of the Millennium users at your site.
The System Upkeep item within the Tools World of Millennium Explorer contains the following functions.
System Alerts - This item provides access to the set up and display of system-wide alerts to send to all Millennium Users that are logged in at the time of the alert.
System Info - This item provides access to the display and maintenance of the system settings and locations of such components as the Millennium program files, Reporting files, Reporting Queues, Printers, etc.
System Options - This item provides access to the display and maintenance of system-wide data entry preferences and to Millennium user password options and settings.
System Requirements - This item lists the latest system requirements for Millennium.
User Security - This item provides access to the display and maintenance of Database Groups and also the set of users who have been "registered" with the system.
Utilities - This item provides access to the standard set of Millennium utilities that are available to perform a variety of tasks, not available through regular processing.
Diagnostics - This item provides access to a library of diagnostic tools that can help pinpoint problems with Millennium system configuration or database tables. These tools should be used at the direction of or by Community Brands Customer Support.
View Users - This item provides access to the Logged In Users page, showing the user name, Log On Time, and User Group of the users currently logged in to your system.
